Manley Award

Description & History

This award shall be presented annually to persons who have worked with the members of the Women's Physical Education club of St. Louis and vicinity, who have demonstrated outstanding service to the Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance in programming for physical education, health, recreation, dance and/or allied professions. The recipient shall have held membership in the Missouri Association for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance and the American Alliance for Health, Physical Education, Recreation and Dance for ten years and be a current member of these Associations. Should the nominee be retired, the current membership requirement would be waived. The recipient shall have given service to the State Association while working with the Women's Physical Education Club in providing programs.
