Jump Rope/Hoops for Heart

Each year MOAHPERD recognizes the Top Ten money raising schools for the following categories:

John Glidden Hoops for Heart Awards
Dr. John Gorman Jump Rope for Heart Awards
Jump Rope for Heart/Hoops for Heart Combined Event

The MOAHPERD executive director will secure information for these awards from the American Heart Association and in early August the schools receiving these awards will be notified and provided with appropriate materials for convention attendance.

Coordinators and assistant coordinators (maximum two per school) will be recognized at a luncheon on Saturday at the annual convention. These individuals will also receive a gift from MOAHPERD and their school will receive a plaque. The coordinator for each school will also have their registration for the convention waived.
